So Peaceful...

I love to capture these moments.
To see my little boy sound asleep.
I find myself wanting to just pick him up and hold him.
Yet fighting the urge, because I want him to sleep.
His expression says it all
"i need this so much"
How I need these sweet reminders.
When life seems to stand still.
And all of a sudden, I have time.
Lots of time to...just...watch....him.

Playing with our new friend

In lieu of his love for horses, Wyatt was given a riding horse, which he lovingly referred to as "horse".
After a funfilled time at his Nana and Big Pop's house, Wyatt was given back to us along with "Dusty", an even BIGGER horse.
Now the "horse" is referred to as "Dusty's baby".
Here are some fun pics of Wyatt, Wes, Dusty and Dusty's baby.

this "thing" we have

Wyatt has this "thing."
He calls it a lion.
Anna Grace prefers to use it as a ball.
Ethan refers to it as a porcupine.
One day Wyatt popped it.
Daddy made some "changes" to it.
Now it has many uses.
The newest, a hat.

receiving "the gift"

a difficult angle, very hard to discern that it is a lion.

now, it's a hat!

even, Brighton tried it out...

...but wasn't too impressed.

A Fun Day in Columbia

Wes, Wyatt and I headed out early this morning to the state's capital for a doctor's appointment, but we decided to make it a family adventure! So I packed up some lunches this morning, we swung by our neighborhood coffee shop:), and we were off. Wes and I had a really nice, quality conversation on the way up, Wyatt contributed many meaningful thoughts as well;) and the best part is, we had a wonderful report from the Dermatologist. Wyatt has a small spot on his leg and it turns out, that's exactly what it is. A small spot.
No worries. Whatsoever.
Praise and Thanks to our Great God in Heaven!
Here are some fun captured moments from our day.

Fireworks on New Years

"Wouldn't exactly say they are 'lined' up, all down the beach."
- Rita McInville
This New Year's Eve, Wes, Wyatt and I enjoyed a night at the beach with some wonderful friends, Andy, Rita, Chris and Charissa. Wes assured us that after midnight, the fireworks would be "lined up" all down the beach, "from one end to the other." Well, lets just say that after the New Year (or Dew Year, according to Mr. Clark), we had a short, but very entertaining, fireworks display right outside our balcony.
In this video, there are many screams and yells, all from our group, much of which I shamefully am responsible for. Including the dreadful "bring it on" at the end.
A Belated Happy Dew Year!

Wyatt had such a good time with his cousin, Anna Grace, today.
Here are some sweet pics of them.
